xenox.net

the thoughts of a SharePoint Developer

Welcome to xenox.net
Here you will find more information about me than you probably want.  I have taken the road less travelled to end up in SharePoint land and will share my experiences and challenges here.

This site is in its infancy but will be taking on a new life in the weeks to come.
Presentation!:
I presented a session titled:
at the SharePoint Saturday The Conference August 11, 12, 13.

So far this event is great.  It was my first time attending a SharePoint conference and my first time Speaking.

I'd like to thank all the people who attended my session.

Blog
Who doesn't have one of these now-a-days?  Here you will find pointless ramblings and occasional morsels of knowledge that contribute to the community.

Tech Tidbits
I hope to have a running library of tidbits that may prove useful to someone (especially myself when I have already forgotten what I figured out in the first place).

About Me

I grew up in Gaithersburg, Maryland and spent my early college years at University of Maryland.  After many changes of major, I dropped out to join a band where I spent the next 10 years of my life 'living the dream'.  When the band broke up, I went back to school and attained my Computer Science degree.  After a short stint at Marriott International doing .NET web development, I moved to Seattle to work for my brother as a video game developer.  His company did not survive and I found myself going back to .NET as a web developer for the University of Washington School of Law.  At the UW, I was tasked with learning how to develop in SharePoint.  A couple of years later, I moved to the DC area to be closer to my family and dove headfirst into SharePoint Development.

Outside of my professional life, I am a husband and father.  My hobbies include spending time with my family, playing sports (basketball, tennis, bicycling) and of course music and computers.
